Romans 8:28 might be the most quoted verse in the church lobby and the least believed verse in the hospital parking lot. It's easy to nod along when "all things" means a flat tire that made you miss a meeting that got cancelled anyway. It's harder when "all things" is the diagnosis, the layoff, the kid who won't call back.

But notice what the verse doesn't say. It doesn't say all things are good. Scripture never asks you to call the broken thing good — God doesn't gaslight His kids. It says God works in all things. Present tense. Ongoing. A weaver with the black threads still on the loom.

We've read hundreds of your testimonies on this platform now, and there's a pattern we can't unsee: the chapter people wanted deleted is almost always the chapter God used most. Not because the pain was good — because He never stopped working.

Whatever "that thing" is for you today: He's not done with it either.

Father, we don't have to call it good to trust You with it. Work in the thing we'd delete if we could. Give us eyes to catch You weaving. Amen.
